Newquay puts on a whole host of events throughout the year with something for everyone. Here are some of the events planned for 2009.

Run to the Sun

A 3 day party that brings thousands of classic VW beetles and Campers to Newquay, and 3 top club nights in a row with lines ups you don't want to miss.

Fat Face Night Surf

Part of the Fat Face extreme night series, the Night Surf brings world-class surfers under the floodlights alongside the ultimate family-friendly beach party.

Newquay Lion's Carnival

A vibrant affair that fills the streets with colour and entertainment.

White Stuff Surf Relief UK Day

This one day beach festival combines pro-surfing with live music in aid of the charity Surf Relief UK.

Ripcurl Boardmasters Unleased

Europe's biggest surf, skate and music festival brings the WQS surfing event to Newquay, along with 7 nights of bands on Fistral Beach.

RFU Beach Rugby Tournament

The final of the National Beach Rugby Series sees teams from across the country battle it out on the golden sands of Lusty Glaze Beach. Good food, live music and fireworks.

A showcase of Newquay's abundance of fresh seafood in the historic harbour.

Zapcat King of the Surf Grand Prix

Check out the only leg of the Zapcat circuit that takes place on a surfing beach and witness these super-powered, twin-hulled catamarans leap and twist out of the water.
